Join NEXTGen Detroit Volunteers for a morning of fresh air, friends and rolling up our sleeves for a good cause! We're heading to Pingree Farms in Detroit to help put their community garden to bed for the winter. We'll be harvesting the last of the season's bounty for local food pantries and helping to prepare the plants for the cold months ahead. Close-toed shoes, long pants and a hat are highly recommended. We'll provide all the gardening supplies, including gloves and a light, kosher breakfast before we get to work.
$5 per person includes breakfast.
Please register in advance by September 29.
This event is intended for young adults ages 21 to 45.
